One Piece (ワンピース Wan Pīsu^?) is an award-winning Japanese shōnen manga series written and illustrated by Eiichiro Oda, that has been serialized in Weekly Shōnen Jump since July 19, 1997. One Piece follows the adventures of Monkey D. The telethon “24-Hour Television” started as a charity project in 1978 to commemorate the 25th anniversary of Nippon Television Network Corporation and its affiliates. Based on the theme “Love Saves the Earth,” the aim of the charity program is to introduce existing conditions of social welfare in Japan as well as around the world, and to appeal the need for assistance towards disadvantaged people. 
The first campaign was successful as it gained public support largely through television viewers, and raised approximately 1.2 billion yen in donations. Consequently, the 24-Hour Television Charity Committee was established in the same year to administer funds donated by TV program viewers. The telethon has continued ever since, and has raised a total donation of 27,248,414,171 yen(as of September 2008). Although we conduct fundraising throughout the year, the highlight of our charitable activities, which is the telethon, takes place during one weekend in August every year.

CBGB (Country, Blue Grass, and Blues) was a music club at 315 Bowery at Bleecker Streetin the borough of Manhattan in New York City.

Founded by Hilly Kristal in 1973, it was originally intended to feature its namesake musical styles, but became a forum for American punk and New Wave bands like Ramones, Misfits,Television, the Patti Smith Group, Mink DeVille, The Dead Boys, The Dictators, The Fleshtones, The Voidoids, The Cramps, Blondie, The Shirts, and Talking Heads. In later years, it would mainly become known for Hardcore punk with bands such as Agnostic Front,Alice Donut, Ratos de Porão, Bad Brains, Murphy's Law, Cro-Mags, Mindless Self Indulgence, Warzone, Gorilla Biscuits, Sick of It All, and Youth of Today performing there.

Less Than Jake is an American ska punk band from Gainesville, Florida. Originally formed in 1992 as a power pop trio, the band evolved into a hybrid of ska punk. Less Than Jake have also been cited as showing influences from a wide variety of genres including post-grunge,heavy metal, alternative rock and punk revival.^[1] To date, the group has released eight full-length studio albums and a number of singles and compilations. The current lineup comprises guitarist/vocalist Chris Demakes, bassist/vocalist Roger Manganelli, drummer/lyricist Vinnie Fiorello, trombonist Buddy Schaub and saxophonist Peter "JR" Wasilewski.

Jason G-001-1BDR G-Shock

The matte black resin band has two metal grills with vent holes on each band. They shine a bright silver when they catch the light just right, but most of the time are less noticeable.

The clasp on this watch is made of plastic. It has an over-sized look, and the pink color makes it stand out more than usual.

The band has a unique design feature on the end. It narrows toward the end and has high ridges that are meant to grip the strap holder. The only other G-Shock with a similar design is the Riseman. The G-001 band is thick though and the ridges more pronounced.

This G-Shock has four buttons (two on each side). They are all pink. The buttons on this model are large and easy to press, but they are recessed into the case a bit. Pressing them in has a different feel than most G-Shocks, and it takes a little getting used to.

The case back is stainless steel cald in dark gray resin. Only a small part of the metal is exposed. This design stays true to the original DW-001. Only these models contain the new 3247 module that lacks a thermometer.

Attached to the top and bottom of the watch case are two pink plastic flaps. These are meant to make the watch more comfortable on the wrist and provide a secure fit.

The backlight glows pink and there's nothing too exciting about it.

Overall, this is a great G-Shock with a really interesting look. The pink looks a lot better than I expected. I don't know if this particular color combination would get much wrist time for me. Personally, I like the look of the yellow or all black models better. There's a lot of little nuances to the design of each of these watches. The Jason models have a unique place in G-Shock history and it's great to seem them back in action.
